Job summary
Jobot is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for the night shift in a fast-paced Houston hospital. You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have ED experience, an active RN license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, and crisis intervention. Magnet environment and leadership growth opportunities are highlighted.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one year of RN experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior Emergency Department experience strongly required.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED environment highly preferred.
- Active RN license (or Compact License eligible).
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (within 4 months), NIH Stroke Certification (within 4 months), Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Certification (within 4 months).
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing assessment, treatment and documentation.
- Administer medications and educate patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead through precepting, charge nurse duties and unit initiatives.
