Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency RN for the night shift in our ER. You will identify and implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses while acting as a resource to the nursing team in a Magnet-designated environment.

Requirements include California RN license, BLS/CPR and ACLS at time of hire with ART within six months, PALS, and at least one year of ER experience. BSN preferred; CNIII level may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• California RN license.
• BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
• PALS certification.
• Experienced Emergency Room RN only.
• Minimum (1) year of Emergency Room RN experience (within the past two years).
• Proven nursing clinical skills to identify and implement nursing interventions and evaluate results for Emergency Room patients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work within a busy team environment.
