Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join Hartford HealthCare's Connecticut network. The role involves night shifts from 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM, including every third weekend and holiday, in a high-volume ED with 56 private rooms and integrated EPIC charting.

You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care under the Nurse Manager, following evidence-based practices and hospital policies to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational

Qualifications

  • BSN preferred; CT RN license required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume ED.
  • Self-directed in patient care management.
  • Emergency nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care in the Emergency Department under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
  • Deliver safe, high-quality care for diverse patient needs.
