Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced ED Registered Nurse for night-shift coverage in Chicago. The role involves using the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in continuous quality improvement.

Eligible nurses will have 1 year of clinical nursing experience with a preference for 2 years in an ED setting, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications, and an Illinois RN license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Promote safety culture and adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate with care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
