Job summary

Administer care per protocols, document accurately in EHR, and participate in governance and quality initiatives. Required: RN license with multi-state compact or state license, BLS; ACLS, PALS, TNCC preferred; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with 2+ years ED experience preferred, capable of urgent assessment and care planning.
• Licensed to practice as RN in the applicable state; basic life support and relevant certifications required.
• Experience with evidence-based practice and quality initiatives in an ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient and family involvement.
• Monitor patient status, adjust plans, and collaborate with team to improve outcomes.
• Uphold safety culture and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Possibly float across units; adhere to age-specific care needs and policy requirements.
