Job summary

Covington Medical Center in Covington, WA is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. This 0.9 FTE position offers a night shift with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of ED experience, WA RN license (or MS endorsement), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Nursing degree required with potential tuition support and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Emergency nursing experience.
Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
Registered Nurse license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
Advocate for ethical, holistic care and for patients from diverse backgrounds.
