Job summary

Covington Medical Center in Covington, WA, seeks an experienced staff RN for the Emergency Department. This hospital-based role supports a multidisciplinary team delivering specialized nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting.

The position is 0.9 FTE with 12-hour evening shifts and alternating weekends, offering tuition assistance and career development opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience is required.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Use the nursing process to deliver care per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost management.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
