MultiCare Covington Medical Center is seeking a staff RN for the Emergency Department. This 0.9 FTE night-shift role involves coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team in a busy ED.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsement (MSL).
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP as required by facility/department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.
