Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an EMT for the Emergency Room on full-time nights (7pm start). The EMT will assist ED physicians and nurses, provide patient care within scope, and help maintain smooth department operations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and EMT or Paramedic licensure, with a minimum of 6 months EMT experience. BLS certification is required and ongoing licensure maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience as EMT in hospital or pre-hospital setting.
• Internal candidates with EMT or Paramedic license may be considered without minimum experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• EMT or Paramedic licensure must be maintained.
• Annual Workplace Violence Prevention program training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities
