Job summary

Cardinal Health in DeLand, FL is seeking a Product Test & Calibration professional to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect production equipment in line with FDA, GMPs and ISO 13485 standards. You will assist with maintenance, training, and ensure product quality while minimizing scrap and promoting safety.

Shift is 9:00 pm to 7:00 am on Fri–Mon. Pay rate is $19.95 per hour (includes shift differential); benefits include healthcare, 401(k), HSA/FSA, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-4 years medical device manufacturing-related experience preferred.
• One year certificate from college or technical school (machinist, engineering technology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Adhere to GMP, ISO 13485 and EHS rules, protect health and safety, conserve resources and environment.
• Complete paperwork for finished products per guidelines.
• Maintain maintenance records and use precision measuring instruments to inspect.
• Select products for inspection and perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical tests.
• Report unusual circumstances to supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
• Basic computer skills with Windows-based programs.
