Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in DeLand, FL is seeking a Sr Technician – Product Test & Calibration to provide preventative maintenance and technical support to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime. The role includes training assistance and keeping records up to date. Shifts run 3:00 pm–11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call as needed. Qualifications

2-4 years of experience preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Comfort working with heights regularly

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on equipment
Assist in maintenance of equipment and provide instruction to Maintenance personnel during the process
Provide technical assistance as requested and arrange for support if necessary
Ensure proper setup of facilities equipment according to procedures and product specifications
Observe plant regulations and use personal protective equipment as required
Transport hazardous waste to accumulation areas
Be on a Call In/On Call status when needed
