Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in DeLand, FL, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee molding, inspection, assembly and packaging of disposable needles, syringes and related products, ensuring FDA, GMP and ISO 13485 compliance and on-time production.

The role leads hourly staff, coordinates training, conducts performance reviews, and drives safety and continuous improvement initiatives with maintenance and engineering teams. Shift: 11:00 pm–7:00 am; salary range $59,000-$92,000.

Qualifications

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
• 2-5 years related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with injection molding preferred.
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, medical device preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team preferred.
• Strong Communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly manufacturing employees and drive performance/appraisals.
• Interview and assist in selection of hourly workers and fill open positions.
• Manage training and development of hourly staff, including safety and housekeeping.
• Manage corrective actions for violations per plant guidelines.
• Address employee complaints and resolve problems.
• Ensure effectiveness/accuracy of equipment and tooling in manufacturing operations.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment and tooling malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Coordinate operation across departments to ensure on-time production and quality.
• Anticipate production issues and implement preventive actions.
• Review production with engineering and participate in validations and process improvements.
• Provide data and collaborate with support departments on cost reductions and scheduling.
• Ensure paperwork for finished product complies with guidelines.
