Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Technician I in Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect equipment in line with finished product specifications. The role focuses on minimizing scrap and promoting workplace safety while providing process information to optimize production equipment.

The position runs from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications.
• Monitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction and arrange or complete repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.
• Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.
• Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics.
• Transports hazardous waste to required areas. Complete annual refresher trainings.
