Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. seeks a Technician I, Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect equipment in line with finished product specs. The role focuses on minimizing scrap, promoting safety, and providing process data to management for optimization.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, monitoring performance, performing repairs, and completing documentation per guidelines. Position details include a 7:00 am–3:00 pm shift and rate information provided below.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications
• Monitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.
• Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.
• Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics.
• Transports hazardous waste to required areas. Complete annual refresher trainings.

Education
