Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services team member to perform a variety of cleaning tasks across patient areas and facilities. The role includes evening/night hours, weekend rotation, and holidays as required.

You will clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms, offices, and common areas to support patient care and hospital operations. Starting rate is $18.00 per hour with additional pay for experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Less than 1 year of relevant work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls.
• Dusts furniture and equipment, mops floors, polishes fixtures and cleans high areas with ladder.
• Removes trash and soiled linens; assists in hanging and removing drapes/dividers for cleaning.
• On patient care units: perform terminal cleaning and follow isolation procedures as needed; respond to call lights and maintain orderly rooms.
