Job summary

WellSpan Health in Gettysburg, PA is seeking a Hospital Environmental Services Aide to perform general cleaning of patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas. This full-time role works 3:00pm–11:30pm, 80 hours biweekly.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English sufficiently to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other areas.
• Cleans and disinfects fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls in bathrooms.
• Dusts furniture and equipment; cleans and polishes fixtures in utility rooms and bathrooms.
• Wet mops rooms, halls, stairs and public areas; cleans high areas with ladder.
• Removes trash and soiled linens; assists in hanging drapes and dividers for cleaning.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and ensures they are stocked prior to admission.
