Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper – Environmental Services Technician for a full-time night shift in Georgia. You will maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and hospital areas, follow infection control protocols, and support a safe, comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include waste handling, use of PPE, room cleaning, and collaboration with clinical teams. Prior experience in healthcare housekeeping is preferred; high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• All certifications required upon hire.
• Some experience preferred.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Performs full range of hospital housekeeping tasks including restroom cleaning and patient room cleaning.
• Follows infection prevention protocols and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Uses PPE correctly and follows safety procedures.
• Handles waste and recyclables per guidelines; operates cleaning equipment and tools.
