Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring for an Environmental Services associate at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Wisconsin. This part-time position offers mid-shift hours (2pm–6pm, Monday through Friday) for 20 hours per week.

The role involves cleaning patient care areas and facilities, handling waste per infection control guidelines, and maintaining clean, safe environments for patients and staff. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow and understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and understand facility layouts.
• Ability to provide courteous service to patients, visitors and staff.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices and stairwells.
• Clean environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls and fixtures.
• Dust and mop floors; replace cubicle and window coverings.
• Handle recyclables, trash and medical waste per infection control guidelines.
• Stock and deliver linens; prepare soiled linen for transport.
• Operate cleaning equipment and report mechanical issues.
