Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency team at St John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Schedule: Nights, 36 hrs/wk, 7pm-7am, with a pay range of $34.00-$51.00 per hour.

Applicants must be licensed in the state, with BSN preferred. BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on patient population. Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands on acute patient care at the bedside in the Emergency Department.
• Provide nursing care during night shifts (7pm–7am) for 36 hrs/week.
• Adhere to licensure and resuscitation protocol requirements (BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable).
