Job summary

Elanco in Clinton, IN is seeking an Emergency Services Officer to join the on-site Emergency Services team, delivering world-class asset protection, life safety, and emergency response. The role requires FF I/II, Hazmat Awareness/Ops, EMT-B, and strong decision-making under pressure; you will lead incident response, train the team, and ensure safety systems are mission-ready.

This 12-hour night shift (4:30pm–4:45am) on-site position offers growth opportunities within a global animal-health

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience on an emergency response team with FF I/II, Hazmat Awareness/Ops, EMT-B.
• Proficiency in emergency medical and firefighting tactics; high-stress decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary response to fires, spills, rescues, and medical incidents.
• Maintain and inspect life safety and fire protection systems; ensure equipment is ready.
• Manage site asset protection via perimeter checks and access control.
• Develop and deliver emergency response training for the Emergency Response Team.
• Perform administrative safety duties and maintain confidential site documentation.
