Job summary

Elanco seeks an Emergency Services Officer to join Clinton Labs’ Emergency Services team. You will deliver world-class asset protection, life safety, and emergency response, advancing site safety through fire mitigation and HazMat response.

You will supervise life safety systems, manage access, and train the Emergency Response Team (ERT) while coordinating with visitors and contractors in a high-stakes manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: active on an emergency response team (Fire Brigade/Hazmat) with FF I/II, Hazmat Awareness/Ops, EMT-B.
• Leadership: demonstrated ability within emergency response or similar capacity.
• Qualified to serve as Incident Commander within a site ICC system.
• Hazmat Technician and Confined space/Ropes ops certifications or planned within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary response to fires, spills, rescues, and medical incidents under incident command.
• Inspect life safety and fire protection systems; ensure equipment is mission-ready.
• Manage site asset protection via perimeter checks, surveillance, and access control.
• Develop and deliver emergency response training with ERT subject matter expertise.
• Perform administrative safety duties, hazard reviews, weather monitoring, and secure docs.
