Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency scenes including fire, medical, bomb threats, and other incidents.
• Arrives on scene, performs scene size up, relays information to dispatch and supervisor.
• Performs rescue procedures and fire suppression activities.
• Responds to hazardous material emergencies and provides spill containment.
• Responds to medical emergencies and stabilizes patients.
• Relays patient care information to medical personnel.
• Administers treatment following medical protocols.
• Performs triage during mass casualty incidents.
• Performs standard security duties such as unlocking doors and patrolling.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
