Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America in Indiana is seeking an Emergency Response Officer to respond to a variety of incidents including medical, fire, hazmat, and security events. The role requires EMR certification and state licensing, with shifts on Monday through Friday and 2nd/3rd shifts available.

You will assess scenes, coordinate with dispatch, perform rescue and fire suppression tasks, and maintain logs and reports while delivering high-quality customer service and professional conduct

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency scenes including fire, medical, bomb threats, and other incidents.
• Performs scene size up and relays information to dispatch and supervisor.
• Performs rescue procedures including vehicle and machinery extrication and high/low angle rescues.
• Assists in fire suppression using equipment and extinguishers.
• Responds to hazmat emergencies and containment efforts.
• Responds to medical emergencies and stabilizes patients, transports to onsite clinic.
• Relays patient care information to medical personnel.
• Administers treatment following protocols at scene or in vehicle.
• Performs triage during mass casualty incidents.
• Provides standard security duties and patrols, reports irregularities.
• Prepares logs and reports; performs other duties as assigned.
