Yale NewHaven Health in Bridgeport, Connecticut is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join as a nocturnist. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care during overnight hours in a busy, high-acuity emergency department.

The ideal candidate will manage critical conditions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure thorough documentation. A graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of board certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with an M.D., D.O., or MBBS degree.
• Completion of an approved Emergency Medicine training program with board certification or board eligibility.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care for patients during overnight shifts.
• Perform timely assessments, diagnoses, and treatments across a range of conditions.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Connaissances

Management of acutely ill and injured patients

Proficiency in basic and advanced cardiac life support

Proficiency in advanced trauma life support

Proficiency with departmental patient management systems

Formation

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school

Completion of an approved Emergency Medicine training program
