Mercy Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech in the Emergency Department for a 24-hour-per-week night shift in Festus, MO. Duties include assisting with patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN and performing designated clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks to support patient wellness.

Qualified candidates may have a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPCT or enrollment in a healthcare program; BLS within one month, and PCT competencies within 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPCT certification or enrollment in healthcare program preferred.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire; PCT competencies within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in individualized patient care under RN or LPN.
