Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is hiring Emergency Department Patient Care Techs (PCT) to join our fast-paced ED team in St. Louis, MO. This role offers night shifts (7pm-7am) with rotating weekends and holidays and opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment.

Under RN/LPN supervision, you will perform direct patient care and support tasks to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Currently enrolled in a healthcare career program.
• Current Mercy co-workers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Support with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Document vital signs and patient information in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and belongings.
• Provide non-clinical support to ensure efficient unit operation.
