Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO, is seeking experienced Patient Care Technicians for the Emergency Department. The role is 36 hours per week, night shifts, working with a collaborative team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and/or CNA/CPCT or enrollment in a healthcare program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire; complete PCT competencies within 3 months.
• Experience preferred; Mercy provides a 175-hour training program if no prior PCT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient monitoring and daily care activities under RN or LPN supervision.
• Support transportation and other essential tasks to ensure safe patient care.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
