Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, night position. The role involves direct patient care under RN/MD supervision in the ED, including triage, vitals, and procedure support.

Qualifications require an Accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program and CNA/CMA/EMT/Paramedic certification at hire, plus BLS. Prior acute care experience is preferred and a strong focus on communication and safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and maintain clean, stocked care areas.
• Handle order entry and results in the computer system.
• May float to OR/Medical/Surgical/ICU as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
