Job summary

Sharp Tri-City Medical Center seeks an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to support ED RNs, PAs or physicians during night shifts. You’ll provide patient care across all ages and assist with basic procedures, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

This full-time role runs 7:00 PM–7:30 AM on a 12/36 schedule. Requirements include HS diploma and BLS; paramedic/EMT certifications and ED experience are a plus. Sharp HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• English communication skills essential.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs, PAs or physicians with basic procedures.
• Transport patients to and from ED as needed.
• Provide splinting and immobilization of extremities.
• Perform daily equipment checks and logs to meet hospital standards.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and ordering of supplies.
