Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an Emergency Services Technician for night shifts, 12-hour shifts, in a 0.6 FTE role. You will support patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient experiences.

Required CNA/NA-R/MA-P/EMT prerequisites, current BLS, and prior ED/acute care exposure are preferred. The position emphasizes safety, learning, and compassionate care within a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current BLS Certification.
• Previous experience as CNA/NA-R/corpsman/EMT in ED, pre-hospital, or acute care within last 3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as directed by health care practitioner.
• Engage critical thinking to maintain a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with the team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
