Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General's Green Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Clinical Technician to support the Emergency Department. You will assist with vital signs, patient care tasks under an RN, and clerical duties as a Health Unit Coordinator, contributing to a healing, patient-centered environment.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; nursing students or military medical personnel are considered with related clinical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certificationrequired at hire or during period.
• Nursing students must have BLS upon hire.
• One year of recent, full-time patient care experience OR nursing student with a completed clinical rotation OR military medical service experience OR additional education/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under RN supervision (vital signs, weight, personal care).
• Assist with point-of-care testing, dressing changes, external monitoring devices, catheter insertion.
• Report abnormal findings to the RN.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
