Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio, TX seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Emergency Department on the night shift. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and collaborate with management to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates care, supports staff development, and contributes to service quality initiatives. RN licensure and ED experience are required, with opportunities to influence through hospital

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in nursing or RN diploma.
• 1 year of ED RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to support throughput and quality care.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve patient outcomes.
• Support patient-first care and service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement.
• Participate in interviewing, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor use according to patient care needs.
• Support inventory control and supplies management.
