Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. in San Antonio seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Emergency Room night shift. You will coordinate nursing care, ensure efficient throughput, and model compassionate, patient-centered service during your designated shift.

Working with the management team, you’ll guide staff, support interview and training processes, schedule labor, and monitor supplies. You’ll lead initiatives to improve outcomes while maintaining safety and a culture focused on the patient and family

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• TNCC or equivalent within 1 year.
• PALS within 90 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admission and discharge to support throughput and quality.
• Monitor and evaluate patient care in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment management.
