Job summary

Moog is seeking an Electronics Test Technician (1st Shift) to join our Space and Defense Group in Phoenix, AZ. This onsite role focuses on testing Flight deliverable electronic assemblies for Moog Broad Reach products using EGSE, environmental tests, and debug tools.

The position requires 2–5 years of hands-on testing experience, electrical test knowledge, scripting, and proficiency with Windows/Office tools. You will work with engineers to gather data and document results in the test system.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Testing Technician.
• Associate in electrical and computer technology degree or equivalent and/or High school diploma preferred.
• Candidates must be knowledgeable in electrical circuit functionality and how to use electrical test equipment.
• Knowledgeable using Windows applications such as Visio, Word, and other MS Office tools.
• Scripting experience.
• Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of assignments and look for ways to execute on time.

Responsibilities

• Test flight deliverable electronic assemblies using EGSE and environmental tests (vibration, thermal, EMI, thermal vacuum).
• Debug activity with DMMs and oscilloscopes, communicating results to engineers.
• Assemble and install circuit card assemblies into chassis; assist with cable/card re-work as needed.
• Document troubleshooting steps and update procedures and test equipment designs in Moog Broad Reach system.
• Use Microsoft Visio, Excel, Intercept Mozaix for design documentation; create Formal Integration and Test Plans and Environmental Test Procedures.
