Job summary

Printpack Inc. is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic equipment in our Bloomington manufacturing environment. The night shift runs 7 PM to 7 AM, four days a week (48 hours).

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available and the role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include working with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and vision systems, performing preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience as Electronics Technician preferred.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial controls and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of NEC electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment including PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Diagnose and repair electronic systems with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and drive systems.
• Perform calibration, alignment and preventive maintenance for reliability.
• Troubleshoot with diagnostic equipment and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal teams on improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for system upgrades.
