Printpack is seeking an Electronics Controls Technician in Villa Rica, GA to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment, including PLCs, servo motors, and drives. Qualifications
- Experience with control system hardware and software design.
- Familiarity with NEC electrical codes.
- Experience as Electronics Technician or similar.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
- Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, and industrial communications.
- Experience troubleshooting servo motors and AC/DC drives.
- Understanding of process control loops (temperature, pressure, flow, PID).
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment.
- Modify machinery logic systems (PLC) and PC-based systems.
- Read and interpret schematics; order spare parts.
- Ensure plant safety rules and housekeeping.
- Communicate repairs to operators and maintain records.
