Job summary

Printpack is seeking an Electronics Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment across our manufacturing facilities in the United States. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, vision systems, and drive systems to keep production running at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities include programming ladder logic, performing preventive maintenance, developing training materials, and enforcing OSHA and arc-flash safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Electronics Tech degree preferred.
• Apprentice completion in electrical trades acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic/electrical equipment including PLCs and industrial control systems.
• Diagnose and repair sophisticated electronic systems with HMIs, servo drives, and vision systems.
• Calibrate and modify circuitry; implement preventive maintenance.
• Modify and program PLC systems; maintain ladder logic and backups.
• Develop and deliver maintenance training and technical materials.
• Lead electrical safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.
• Design electrical layouts for system upgrades to boost production efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to implement improvements.
• Maintain documentation and backups for PLCs, HMIs, drives, and vision systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and preventive measures.
• Perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Not all locations: other duties as assigned.
