Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 at our Ocala, FL location. The role covers day-to-day troubleshooting and preventive/predictive maintenance for material handling equipment. Shift is Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:30 am with every other Wednesday; overtime/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational-technical training preferred.
• Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and component adjustment/replacement.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines and documentation.
• Create and close work orders with data such as labor hours and parts used.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and identify solutions.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and fix equipment faults.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across the organization.
