Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 in Memphis, TN for 2nd shift (5pm–5am Panama shift). You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance, and service Material Handling Equipment on site, with overtime and weekend work possible.

You will create and close work orders, track labor hours, diagnose faults, and work with others to keep equipment running efficiently. HS diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and documentation.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
