Job summary

Dematic in Memphis, TN seeks an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 to troubleshoot and maintain material handling equipment on site. The role operates on a rotating night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, with occasional weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent; assoc. degree or vocational training preferred.
• 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and proper documentation.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
• Create and close work orders with labor hours, maintenance, and parts data.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and determine resources needed for resolution.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to meet specifications.
• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels.
