Job summary

KION Group AG in Ocala, FL is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 to provide day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance for Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working varied shifts including weekends as needed. Base pay ranges from $26 to $30 per hour, with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; vocational-technical training preferred.
• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking and component replacement.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic conveyance problems and locate spare parts from inventory.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Create and close work orders into the asset management system with data such as labor hours and parts used.
• Troubleshoot fundamental conveyance problems and understand the resources to resolve them.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.
• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
