Job summary

KION Group AG is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 for its Minden, NV site. This 2nd shift role (5 pm – 3:30 am, Mon–Thu) focuses on troubleshooting, preventative/predictive maintenance, and mentoring junior staff. overtime and weekend work may be required.

The role involves repairing MHE, performing maintenance, using electrical test equipment, and documenting activities in the asset management system. Strong technical knowledge and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Associate degree or relevant experience recommended.
• Demonstrates basic technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE).
• Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results.
• Use electrical test equipment to diagnose circuits and faults.
• Create and close work orders with data on labor, equipment, and parts.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex issues and identify required resources.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Perform routine equipment testing to ensure specifications are met.
• Respond to service calls and address equipment failures.
• Develop positive relationships across the organization.
