Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician on a night shift at its Auburn, WA facility. The role focuses on electro-mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, equipment setup, and PLC troubleshooting to keep manufacturing lines running efficiently.

Associates degree is preferred with a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing maintenance. Proficiency in Word/Excel, safety practices, and the ability to train Level I technicians are important.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field is desired.
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Ability to read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
• Enter all work completed in computer-based maintenance program.
• Monitor spare parts usage and complete parts orders.
• Adjust equipment based on SPC data and partner with QA.
• Train Level I technicians in more complex tasks.
