Job summary

UPS is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician Technician in Saint Paul, MN for a 9:00 PM shift Tuesday through Saturday in a fast-paced 24x7 hub environment. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing AC/DC electrical equipment, motors, conveyors, and related systems to keep package handling operations running efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a strong electrical background, pass an electrical assessment, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Strong electrical background and ability to pass electrical assessment.
• Experience with AC/DC equipment and industrial controls.
• Available to work Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 PM shift in a 24x7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC/DC electrical equipment (batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches).
• Inspect, repair, and replace motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, and pulleys.
• Inspect, repair, and replace pneumatic equipment (diverters, hoses, lubricators).
• Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic components (hoses, fittings, cylinders).
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, bulk carts, and power equipment.
