UPS is hiring Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanics to maintain operations at a package handling facility. The role is fast-paced and involves work with hub teammates in a 24 x 7 operation, with an 3:30 a.m.

start time from Tuesday to Saturday. Candidates must have a strong electrical background and pass an electrical assessment, with responsibilities including preventive maintenance on conveyors, motors, gear drives, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and ability to pass electrical assessment.
• Shift availability: 3:30 a.m. start, Tuesday to Saturday.
• Experience with industrial equipment and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, or replace motors, belts, bearings, and conveyors.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair hydraulic equipment.
• Weld handrails and conveyor supports as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment.
