Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level electrical and industrial controls support in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment and facility systems.
  • Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems.
  • Lead equipment modernization projects to replace obsolete controls and improve reliability.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, software backups, panel schedules, and technical documentation.

Pay Rate: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour

Schedule: 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Education Requirements
  • Associate Degree or Specialized Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanical Technology, or related field preferred
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience in electrical, electronics, and industrial controls
  • Advanced knowledge of PLCs, servo drives, HMIs/OITs, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience developing, managing, and implementing capital projects
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, P&IDs, and block diagrams
  • Experience coordinating contractors and supporting manufacturing operations
Job Duties
  • Provide high-level electrical and industrial controls support in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment and facility systems
  • Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems
  • Lead equipment modernization projects to replace obsolete controls and improve reliability
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and maintenance costs
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, software backups, panel schedules, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Support equipment procurement, site acceptance testing, and capital project execution
  • Lead preventive maintenance activities on electrical infrastructure, transformers, and high-voltage equipment
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, NFPA, OSHA, UL, and other applicable safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related technical environment is preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs and responding to equipment breakdowns is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, electrical controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, or fabrication is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Electrical Technician.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
