Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a full-time Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support electrical systems and automation in a dairy processing facility. The role requires interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting electrical equipment, and maintaining PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.

Qualified candidates will have a journeyman electrician license, 5+ years in the field, and experience with RSLogix and FactoryTalk.

Qualifications

Minimum five years journeyman experience in installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
Experience in a food and/or fluid dairy manufacturing environment preferred.
Strong programming experience with Rockwell Software including RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, and FactoryTalk SE.

Responsibilities

Proficiently interpret blueprints, manufacturers’ specifications and written/verbal instructions.
Assist in preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
Maintain automation infrastructure including PLCs, Batch, and HMIs.
Manage projects and changes to validated systems through change management system.
Oversee the implementation of new automation and controls.
Diagnose and resolve electrical problems of equipment or facility.
Prepare reports indicating work progress and recommendations.
Ensure safety and 100% compliance with quality standards.
