Job summary

McWane Ductile New Jersey seeks an experienced electrical supervisor to lead a team of electricians on-site, coordinating activities to minimize downtime and boost equipment reliability. Qualifications

• Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Capable of functioning under stressful situations.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize work in a multitask environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC circuits.
• Knowledgeable of NEC and NFPA 70E regulations.
• Knowledgeable of medium voltage systems and infrastructure.
• Proficient in AB ladder logic troubleshooting for CompactLogix and ControlLogix.
• Experience and knowledge reading and understanding electrical schematics and single line diagrams.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, work orders, and company policies/procedures for employees.
• May be required to work any shift.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
