Job summary

McWane Ductile New Jersey is seeking an experienced electrical supervisor to directly oversee electricians, coordinate maintenance activities, and drive equipment reliability in a heavy industrial setting.

You will mentor night-shift crews, enforce safety procedures, read electrical schematics, troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, and apply NEC/NFPA 70E standards to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training required; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Knowledgeable of NEC and NFPA 70E regulations.
• Knowledgeable of medium voltage systems.
• Proficient in AB ladder logic troubleshooting for CompactLogix and ControlLogix.
• Reading electrical schematics and single line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, work orders, and company policies/procedures.
• May be required to work any shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
