Job summary

McWane Ductile New Jersey is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

The role requires reading and interpreting electrical schematics, understanding AC/DC circuits, and applying NEC/NFPA 70E standards. Candidates should have an associate degree or 1–2 years related experience and CMMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training required; OR an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and procedures.
• The ability to speak effectively and present information to all audiences from management to employees.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the activities of electricians.
• Recommend and conduct safety and other training for night shift personnel.
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations between departments.
• Recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders.
• May be required to work any shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
